humanity in your heart, and do you feel that there is a lack of humanity in our so called progressive world?
I don't need a definition from a dictionary, but real life thoughts and feelings on humanity.
Thanks for aswering.~:0)What is the true meaning of?
First, ';humanity'; defines who we are as members of the human race. It is also a condition of quality, being ';humane';, in how we treat one another as members of the human race--one unto the other. In my heart, I feel as though we will never be loving enough to completely end wars unless we first do self-examinations of our own actions in relation to others. That means that being humane, its act of various kindnesses, must begin in the inth degree--with ourselves. Me. You. This world does have its hopeful signs and brighter of moments. I believe that acts of love (and being humane) are like small rose gardens that crop up in vast fields of weeds. There are hopeful signs that can change the course of the world where every man, woman and child could finally appreciate the scent of the most beautiful roses within our human garden--love, benevolence, kindness and a future of hope for all. In order to perfect that garden much deweeding has to take place beginning now. Remember that a rose blooms on a stem of thorns. What is the true meaning of?
I believe Humanity is a heart felt well-being feeling we should have towards our fellow humans. We express this feeling with our actions/treatment of others. The results of our actions/treatment expresses our, as individuals, definition of the word.
This is one of the better questions I have come across on this yahoo thing...
One that I would definitely like to answer as I feel from your question you are a true and genuine soul...
Today, however, was not the best day for me and I am still recovering... I would not be in the best place to answer this question honestly and truthfully right now... but if it's still posted later on in the week, I will come back and answer from the heart.
Thanks for asking.
You are absolutely very very correct. We all are living the artificial life due to lack of humanity! All people of this world most probably dealing with each other as a commercial, very rare cases you may found the act of kindness but unfortunately they are counted as sense less people!
Our societies moral decreasing day by day, every body thinking about his own interest due to lack of humanity.
Every where prevailing unjustice which is very unfortunate %26amp; caused us to great loss for our new generation.
Your thinking is really great %26amp; serious we should have to concentrate on this serious subject for the well-fare of human being!God bless you %26amp; your family also.
In my opinion humanity would be universal compassion, tolerance and general concern for the welfare of others.
';Love thy neighbour'; type thing.
Something the world could use a lot more of!
Humanity to me is accepting everyone and creating a society that everyone can live in in peace. Due to pressures around us, I think it's getting harder and harder to have that level of humanity on earth - what with terrorism, racism etc. However, i believe you can see real humanity on a daily basis in the smallest of places - whether this is kids getting along together, charities helping the less fortunate, or just the individual enjoying life.
Hope this answers you somewhat...lol.
Humanity is actually caring for your neighbors and the world around you. I do not believe there is a lack of humanity on the whole. People donate to charities and help their friends in need. In fact I see all manner of random acts of kindness on a daily basis. In essence we are all the same and most of us do care what happens. You cannot believe the talking heads when they paint their dire portraits of the world. These are people with agendas and often agendas require a victim and a villain in order to succeed.
We sometimes see shockingly humane behavior when the need arises. I remember not that long ago a young man fell off the subway platform and a man just jumped off the platform and pulled this young guy down. I think that he placed his body over the guy while the train ran over them without killing either person. It was the same subway station where I used to get off to go to school when I was going to college. The man who saved the young man's life said that he never gave a thought to his actions. I believe that he once worked for the transit authority.
I think that by far the greatest acts of humanity that I can remember was on 911. I live in New York City so I saw and heard some extraordinary things. I had just had heart surgery about two weeks before the World Trade Center was attacked. I was home recuperating during that period. So, I had plenty of time to see the news and talk with friends and aquainances. So many people volunteered to dig out bodies and try to find the living under all of that rubble that most of the vounteers were turned away. The city just used firemen, policemen, and construction workers for the digging. The city asked for food, medical supplies and clothing for the effort and they received so much that they were turning people away. These neighbors of mine came to me and they were so upset because the city wouldn't let them do anything to help. There was just too many volunteers. People were coming in from other cities and states to help out. There was a tremendous amount of support from all kinds of people. I remember talking to this guy who I met on the subway. He was a construction worker, a steel man; he put up the steel structures for skyscrapers. He told me about what it was like digging through the rubble trying to find someone who might be buried alive. These construction workers just stopped their regular work and tried to rescue others. They didn't get paid; they were all volunteers. They did this work with passion and caring for people who they didn't even know. They made extraordinary efforts placing their own lives and health at risk. People just lost their minds in grief on 911 and everyone's heart was broken. Everyone just wanted to do something, to give a part of themselves. There was so much love coming from everyone. This was the response that humanity gave to savagery.
G-d gave 614 Jewish laws to live by....when he came to earth He realized it couldn't be done.....so He said you have to keep only one law '; Love each other the way I love you'; If you love someone you don;t hurt them or lie to them you have compassion.
