There are multiple theories on the source of homosexuality. All of them are unproven, and all of them are cited to whatever whim available. It is generally agreed upon, however, that homosexuality is not a choice, but a hardwired component of an individual. Were it a choice, I sincerely doubt those in countries such as Iran would be quite so ardent in their principles.

Genetic? maybe. The only thing I know for sure is they are born that way so there might be some genetics going on.
Yes. Also if you are gay then some of your ancestors were likely gay...if you know any family history maybe look at the ones who never got married. Those ones might have been.





To the comment about being a choice that is not true. We are born this way and can't help who we are. I don't think anyone would make a choice to be gay,lesbian, bi or transgender!
I had a class a while ago that talk about that. They say you're born gay but sometimes, some doesn't figure it out until they are older
