No. If that were true there wouldn't be so many organizations out their getting employers to hire the mentally disabled. Ask a teacher or other reliable community person for help finding you a job or job training.

Well first of all, you talk very clear, at least, it depends. I have a speech disorder, so technicly I am classified as mentally disabled, but it doesnt make me a retard! I am one of the most interlectual kids in my class, and that is for a senior class. You will hold down a job, as long as you have work ethic! Dont worry, as long as you try you will be fine!

It really depends on to what extent you are disabled. There are all kinds of mental disabilities..I myself am diagnosed Bi-Polar and am a very successful Accountant. Only you know what you can and can not do. If you are under a doctors care talk to him/her about your thoughts on working. Usually people say things when angry (such as in an argument) that they would not normally say.
