Zina, the prohibition of fornification and adultery in Islam. I want to know the true meaning of this.?

Adultery means an unmarried person having sexual relations with a married person and is a sinful act. Fornification, I believe can be said to be sexual relations out of lust. Meaning two people may just get together to satisfy their sexual desires. I believe it also includes prostitution, and much worse rape.





Now my real question is if two people get together to make each other happy. Forming a bond and expressing love in several ways including sex. The relationship is serious and long term, and may or may not lead to marriage. It is not two people just getting together to mess around. The sex is consensual. Both are unmarried of course. This seems to be neither fornification or adultery. Is this ok in Islam?





Or is any physical act of putting the male organ in the women's prohibited? I want to know the truth.

No, it is not OK. Islam protects the rights of the spouses and their potential offspring. Hence demands a marriage contract be made where clauses are to be agreed on by the two partners.





And do not go near fornication; surely it is an indecency and an evil way [opening the road to other indecencies]. (Qur'an 17: 32)





Meaning do not take any path that will lead to this act of fornication [ie. kissing, dating, hugging, etc.] What you described was fornication, that is sex outside of a binding marriage contract - lust is not a condition for fornication in Islam.

Adultery means sex with a married person, but it is not necessary that the other person has to be unmarried(basically it means cheating on your spouse). Fornication is generally regarded as premarital sex.





In Islam, we are not even meant to date(unless the couple is engaged), and all sexual acts, even kissing are forbidden. Intercourse can lead to health problems, but most importantly it is a temptation and immorality which should be avoided. Even masturbation is prohibited. I suggest you ask a scholar or best read the Qur'an to understand this.
