Why cant United States Americans learn the true meaning of Mexican History as well as others?

You cant talk about something you no nother of, and if you say you do and you realy dont what does that tell yourself? People realy need to take time out and stop talking crape and lission to the truth. Most people talk crap about other races for no reason. EVERYONE in this United States is ether good or bad. So yea there is Illegal Mexicans that are BOTH good and bad other than the faxed they came here illegal. Everyone has done wrong. Why cant United States Americans learn the true meaning of Mexican History as well as others?
if they would they would learn theres nothing illegal about them coming here. much of the u.s. was part of mexico until it was stolenWhy cant United States Americans learn the true meaning of Mexican History as well as others?
Most Mexicans I've come across have been kind and warm;) BTW, there is a spell checker button, use it.
Frankly Im to the point were I want to end ALL immigration legal and illegall..This country is becoming a dump.
For the same reason most Americans don't give a flip about Native American history, Black history, or Asian history. Most Americans only care about ther spoiled-rotten selves. Don't get me wrong, though, illegal immigration is bad.
Americans don't know the true meaning of their own history, how are they to be expected to bother learning the true meaning of other countries history too? you're asking a lot of Americans with that.
Yeah why does Brazil and most South American countries have blacks except Mexico..?? Does that mean that they don't like blacks..?? Huh..??
Why won't Mexico open it's doors for African immigrants!? Are they that racist!!??
Learning the history of the Mexican nation would accomplish what? Make Americans more accepting of having their country slowly eroded out from beneath them? I don't think so.

Tell you what, for every $1 that you earn, I will take .60 cents and keep it for myself. For every $1 that I earn, I will give you nothing. Does that sound fair? Especially if you are earning $80,000+ per year and I am earning $12,000? In essence, that is what happens when illegal immigrants are living here in the United States.

I work to feed my children as well as hundreds of other illegal immigrant children. So, when my child goes hungry because I only get to bring home 40% of my paycheck while your child thrives on the 100% of your own income PLUS the 60% of my income, that's fair - right?? So I go down and apply for government assistance to feed my child only to be turned down because my recorded income is higher than their acceptable standards. Meanwhile, undocumented workers are there collecting their government benefits because their income is undocumented and therefore they meet the ';poverty line';. If their income was documented then they would be denied - just like me.

But you're right...if only I would learn about their struggles as a nation then all would be better... Explain to my son that because he was born here and speaks the nation's common language, that he won't be able to find a good paying job because he is not bilingual BECAUSE THE SCHOOLS MUST FOCUS ON TEACHING SPANISH SPEAKERS HOW TO SPEAK ENGLISH WHICH GIVES THEM AN AUTOMATIC ADVANTAGE OVER MY SON IN THE WORKFORCE! Why don't we invest school money instead on teaching natural born, english speaking citizens to speak a foreign language which would make them GLOBAL COMPETITORS!!
Heartbroken... Many non European Americans don't care in the least about European history. They say they hear about it every day. There are 48 countries in Europe, and only one is constantly represented. How do you think that makes the rest of us Euro Americans feel? Our culture and heritage is not largely represented, ONE specific type generally is. That means one of the 48 countries in Europe is acknowledged the most. (Understandable, considering our country was built on the ethics and culture and government of that specific people.) That's why I'm not complaining. We learn about that history because our country was founded upon it.

However, no one really acknowledges that we have many cultures and nationalities. So why is it selfish for us to want to learn about our own? If a minority does not want to learn about European history, then how is that any less selfish? I think a lot of people are interested in learning about their own roots. That's not selfish. Take no offense to this, but I think that you're being a little unfair. I hope you'll take what I said into consideration.

Next...: Mexican is not a race.

How on earth will learning about Mexican history change anything? I don't get what you're trying to say...

Europe, Asia, and Africa alone average close to 50 countries each per continent (not exactly, but I'm rounding off). I believe Africa with 47, Europe with 48, and so one. So with that many type of people in America, aside from all the others, why should we only learn about Mexican history? There are all types of history to learn. What will learning about Mexican history do to advantage this country?

It will not change that illegal immigration is immoral, and is unfair to both citizens and LEGAL immigrants, who pay taxes that go toward illegal immigrants, while they work and don't pay taxes and get to keep all their money, and sponge off of the American economy. That, and every other immigrant had to come here the right way, why should it be any different for them? But illegal immigrants come from everywhere, not just from Mexico.

So I'm seriously confused by your question and statement. That and the lack of proper spelling and grammar. %26lt;---I apologize for bringing it up, but I am seriously confused. What is your point?
