Myanmar: Is this the true meaning of Faith?

A monastery, place of Worship, on the banks of the Irrawaddy River has become a sanctuary in the truest sense.


People seeking refuge will stay here amongst the debris for the future because they are terrified of another cyclone. Through the window they can see the village they fled - it was swamped during the storm. Now, they try to keep dry, collecting rain water to drink and worrying about where the next meal is coming from.





The mother says she does not know what the future holds, but she will pray to Buddha for guidance.





Isn't this what true Faith is all about?
