Christmas is celebrated because God came to Earth to die on the cross. He came to save the Earth, and now we reject what he origanally came for, and Christmas has become all about commercialism and Santa Claus. Christ gave selflessly for us, and the holiday meant to honor him has become all about greed. We even want to forget the word ';Christmas'; and say something stupid like ';Happy Holidays'; instead. Why are we trying to forget our Savior? This is a time to rejoice over his coming to Earth so he could be with us. I don't understand why we're so foolish.Why have we forgotten the true meaning of Christmas?

Not everyone has forgotten. But we live in a sinful world and the Bible tells us this is not our home. Heaven is our home and that is what I try to think of when I get frustrated and disheartened at the world around me!
Just keep the faith and stand your ground. I take great happiness in wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas!
